CANNED PINEAPPLE SLICES

Once harvested the fruit is selected, peeled and cut in rings, canned with its syrup and later is pasteurized.
Available in light and heavy syrup.

CANNED PINEAPPLE TIDBITS

Once harvested the fruit is selected, peeled and cut in smalls pieces, called tidbits (one of the most frequent measures is 1/16 rings).
Available in light and heavy syrup.

MONTE GOLD variety was introduced by Del Monte in May 1996. This variety quadruplicates the amount of sugar of traditional pineapple (15 to 18 Brix average), it has the same amount of Vitamin C as oranges, and it grows in a shorter time.
