IQF BROCOLLI FLORETS

The plant has a relatively tick stem (3 to 6 diameter) and it is up to 50 cm high. It ends in primary flowers, known as bread or "pella", which is the part used for consumption.
Broccoli has lateral side ramifications which develop secondary flowers of a smaller size which are also processed.
It is very important to determine the precise harvest time. This is because they have a compact structure for a short time until stems grow and quality ripe.When this happens they lose quality conditions.

When processed, leaves are removed, florets are separated by cuting their stem according to specifications. They are calssified according to size and quality. They are frozen in IQF tunnel.
